I am the co-founder of Oneworld Accuracy, based in Vancouver Canada, Lagos Nigeria and Messina Italy. We are an accredited set of medical EQA (external quality assessment) providers. We help governments, predominantly in LMICs, start or improve national EQA programs that correspond to their national health priorities. We provide the key components they need to succeed and sustain - informatics, samples (at cost), training to make their own samples, a strategy to become accredited, business mentoring... The informatics system we've developed, OASYS, is a multi-tenant SaaS application, on path to become open-source. While EQA is a central quality process, the data it generates needs to be added to other datasets to maximize its value and accelerate the goal to provide quality-assured test results needed for doctors and patients to receive proper healthcare. Our goal is to join the DHIS2 COP to understand how best to connect OASYS to DHIS2 so that EQA data can systematically inform health management.
